Set at her high-rise apartment in Nashville, the article breaks down Taylor's many milestones, her humble beginnings and the preliminary work on her fifth studio album. She reveals that much of 2014 will be dedicated to recording the next collection. The first collaboration on the books is with hit-makers Johan Shellback and Max Martin -- the co-writers behind "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
Taylor says, "I want to go in with Max and Johan first, just to figure out what the bone structure of this record is going to be. I have a lot of things to draw from emotionally at the moment. But I have to draw from them with a different perspective than on Red. I can't say the same things over and over, you know? I mean, I think it's just all the more important that I don't ever allow myself to coast."
Real estate rumors from across the pond have Taylor house-hunting in London. According to the Mirror, she's been sniffing around for a pad in the Regent's Park neighborhood, less than a mile away from her former beau Harry Styles. Read the New York magazine's latest cover story here.
