I'm from Chicago and met my wife in college an hour south of Chicago in a town called Kankakee. We did our little on again, off again, long distance relationship stuff until we finally got married in Vegas Dec of '04. It wasn't an Elvis Drive Thru kinda wedding, but a real one at the Bellagio. We have 3 cats (Spud, Alien, and Ringo) and our 2 yr old named Liam, who is gonna have a brother end of May! LOVE "The Office" and "Family Guy." I think I've kinda had enough of the reality shows but I think people still like em so I'll keep talking about them.
Miranda Lambert checks Blake Shelton's phone. She tells Us Weekly, "Either one of us can always look at each other's phone and we know each other's passcode. I don't have to snoop any more. It just takes the question out of the marriage. I (also) like to check his direct messages (on Twitter.com)."
She adds, “We talk at least once a day, and we text a lot. We hang out as best friends. Me and Blake have full-on parties by ourselves, listening to music. I told him he would have to get me a place with a pool and a yard for the dogs, and he did!’
Miss Willie Brown is calling it quits. The country duo, comprised of Amanda Watkins and Kasey Buckley, announced via a letter on their website Tuesday (April 16) that they're breaking up to pursue solo interests.
Amanda plans to continue her country career, "carrying on the heart and soul on which Miss Willie Brown was built." But Kasey is taking a break from music. Though the letter does not make clear what her next move will be, the Texas native was pursuing acting before she met Amanda while both were waiting tables in a Los Angeles diner. They began writing music together after work and realized they had something special, eventually scoring a record deal with A&M/Octone Records and a slot on Dierks Bentley's 2011 tour.
While Miss Willie Brown's full album never saw the light of day, they did release a five-track EP in 2010 and a four-track EP in 2011. Two songs were officially released to country radio, "Sick of Me" and "You're All That Matters to Me."
Sarah Darling is officially off the market! The country songbird said "yes" to boyfriend James Muriel's proposal during a romantic vacation in Key West, Fla. over the weekend.
Though they didn't start their long-distance courtship until just over a year ago, the "Home to Me" singer and British graphic design executive actually met a few years ago through his father, Andrew. "Andrew was an aspiring songwriter and had been traveling to Nashville, back and forth from London. He asked me to sing some of his songs on a demo," Sarah explains to The Boot. "There was a Christmas song that my fiancé actually ended up working on with us. So, God brought us together through music!"
Sarah says she had a few hints that James was planning to pop the big question, yet she was still quite surprised when it actually happened. She calls the proposal "the most amazing feeling" ever in her life.
"It was so perfect because it was on the beach, and the Atlantic Ocean was what separated us," she gushes. "The significance of the scene made it really romantic and sweet."
James has now made the big move across the Atlantic, from London to Nashville. He is a newfound country music fan, thanks to his bride-to-be, who has also taught him how to line dance. Sarah exudes gratitude when talking about her groom's decision to move across the pond.
"Long-distance (dating) was very hard. We would Skype and even did Skype cooking where we cooked dinner together, which is hard since there's a six hour time difference!" she recalls. "The most amazing thing for us is that we had met (years ago) but when we ended up deciding to date, we went to Paris together. After that trip, I knew this was the guy I wanted to be with forever. But he lived in London and I was in Nashville, so how in the world would we make this work? But we did, and he finally said he wanted to move to Nashville to be with me."
On one of their many long-distance chats, Sarah laughs that she gave James quite a scare. She had just been booked to perform on the ABC dating show, "The Bachelor," and called to tell him the good news. "I said, 'Guess what? I'm going to be on this season of 'The Bachelor'!' And there was just silence. Then I said, 'Wait ... not as a contestant! I'm just going to sing!'"
Though the former bachelor and bachelorette are in no rush to set a date, they're looking at May 2014 to tie the knot. No matter when it happens, Sarah promises not to be a "bridezilla," admitting she's never been the kind of girl who has a clear-cut vision of her wedding day.
Faith Hill is passing the NFL torch to someone else, as she has announced that she will not be performing for Sunday Night Football. The singer broke the news through Facebook on Monday (4/15), that she will no longer sing, “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night.” Faith felt like it was “amazing two have been part of Saturday Night Football” and also “an honor.” She thinks “it’s time to let someone else rock the open,” and even though it was a “difficult decision,” she will still be watching. No word on who will replace Faith at this time.
She’s screaming about how much fun she had with a few friends, including opening act Ed Sheeran, at Disney! (Like the picture?)
They took in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, rode the Tower of Terror and tweeted a photo of their ride on Aerosmith’s Rockin’ Roller Coaster. Sharing this pic, Taylor tweeted, “Best day EVER. Disney with my friends!”
