I'm originally from Austin and I'm hardcore Texan to the bone. I'm pretty sure I'm related to William B. Travis...according to my dad. I love the TX weather, the music, the people, and the laid back vibe.
I'm happily married and have two little boys named Austin and Aiden. We are HUGE, and I mean HUGE UT football, baseball, basketball, tennis, swimming, any Longhorn sport fans. Yes we named our first born "Austin", because that's where he will be playing football in 13 years. And "Aiden" was named after one of the characters in Sex and the City.
I love to listen to country music and love that I work for one of the best country stations in TEXAS!
The Internet is obsessed with cats and stupid self-portraits . . . so it's about time someone combined them. The latest stupid online photo trend is called CAT BEARDING.
To take one, hold your cat up while he's looking straight up, and so his face is covering the bottom of YOUR face. It makes it look like the cat's mouth is your mouth . . . and the rest of the cat is your beard.
Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland has announced she will release her first solo
album this fall. She's working with well-known producer Rick Rubin, who has
worked with artists such as Johnny Cash, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers,
Beastie Boys, Jay-Z, Aerosmith and AC/DC. "I am absolutely thrilled and wholly
proud to be working with Rick," says Jennifer. "If you ask any musician who is
on their producer 'bucket list,' Rick would be on each and every one."
Jennifer's partner in Sugarland, Kristian Bush, has been pursuing his own
solo projects while Jennifer has been on maternity leave, after giving birth to
her song Magnus, back in January. There was no indication made whether the two
would work as a duo again in the future.
Kip Moore is an inked man!
With two number-one hits under his belt, Kip treated himself with a visit to a tattoo artist in Nashville to get his first piece on his right bicep. The ink is “Psalm 40” -- a Bible verse that motivated Kip to stay in Tennessee at a time when he'd almost given up on music and moved back home to Georgia.
