The suspense is over:  JASON ALDEAN will be co-hosting the "CMT Music Awards" with KRISTEN BELL.  Jason made the announcement on Twitter and posted a photo of him wearing a "Veronica Mars" T-shirt.  (That's the show Kristen used to star in.)

Jason Tweeted, "Badass shirt @IMKristenBell.  Looking forward to hosting #CMTAwards with ya.  Now to finish my 'Veronica Mars' marathon."

Kristen then Tweeted a photo where she's wearing a Jason Aldean T-Shirt.  She said, "Holla!  @Aldean and I will be hosting the #CMT Awards on Wednesday, June 5th!  Get ready Jason, it's gonna be a blast."

TOBY KEITH is in the middle of a 10-day USO tour of the Philippines, Guam and Hawaii.  He posted a few details and photos on his website

On Monday, Jason released a statement to People.com.

"This is a really tough time for my entire family. Jessica and I have been together since we were teenagers. We've been through a lot of ups and downs over the years as we grew up together as a couple," Aldean exclusively told PEOPLE in a statement.

"She will always be important to me because she is the mother of my children, and I know that we will both always make our daughters our number one priority."

CARRIE UNDERWOOD'S dog had an allergic reaction to eating ants so naturally, she had to post before and after pics on Instagram.  She wrote, "Attention pet owners:  Make sure to have Benadryl handy in case your dog gets stung.  This is miss Penny before and after.  I mean, what dog eats ants?  She's fine now, but it made for a scary morning!"

Alan Jackson is the victim of a Facebook hoax. We've confirmed that someone hacked Alan's Facebook page and posted that his daughter Ali had been in a car accident.

The bogus post asked for prayers for his daughter Ali, saying that she initially appeared to be fine, but later collapsed after coughing up blood.

The Facebook post was quickly removed.
